Eligibility Criteria
For Members Of The State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission/ State Commission :-
Candidate Have An Experiance Of at Least 10 Years as Presiding Officer Of a District Court or Of Any Tribunal at Equivalent Level or Combined Service as Such in The District Court and Tribunal.
Provided That Not More Than 50% Of Such Members Shall Be Appointed; OR
Candidate Have Bachelor's Degree From a Recognized University and a Person Of Integrity and Repute, and Having Special Knowledge and Professional Experiance Of Not Less Than 20 Years in Consumer Affairs, Law, Public Affairs, Law, Public Affairs, Administration, Economics, Commerce, Industry, Finance, Management, Engineering, Technology, Public Health Or Medicine.
For The President Of District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission/ (District Commission) :-
A Person Shall Not Be Qualified For Appointment As President, Unless He is, Or Has Been, Or is Qualified to be a District Judge.
For The President Of District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission/ (District Commission) :-
A Person Of Ability, Integrity and Repute,and having Special Knowledge And Professional Experiance Of Not Less Than 15 Years in Consumer Affairs, Law, Public Affairs, Administration, Economics, Commerce, Industry, Finance, Management, Engineering, Technology, Public Health Or Medicine.
