Eligibility Criteria
69th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination :-
The Candidate must have completed Graduation Or Equivalent from a recognized university as on the last date of filling the online application form. It is mandatory to pass the examination.
Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) :-
Graduation pass from a recognized University and optional subject (1) Home Science (2) Psychology (3) Sociology (4) Labor and Social Welfare, any one of these subjects will have to be selected for the main examination.
Financial Administrative Officer and Equivalent :-
Graduation pass in any one of the subjects of commerce, economics, mathematics or statistics from a recognized university or its affiliated institution.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Technician) :-
(i) Electronics & Communication Engineering (ii) Electronics & Tele- Communication Engineering (iii) Information Technology (iv) Electrical & Electronics Engineering (v) Instrumentation & Communication Engineering (vi) Electrical Engineering with specialty in Electronics Communication, any of the subjects Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute or its equivalent. There will be a pass with 50% marks. For the members of SC/ ST this pass percentage will be 45%.

BPSC 69th Combined Preliminary Examination Process
- BPSC 69th Combined Preliminary Examination Will Be Divided Into Two Parts.
- Primary Exam (Part-I)
- Main (Written) Exam (Part-II)
- Personality Test (Part-III)
- Primary Exam (Part-I):-
- The Integrated Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination will be of General Studies subject, all questions of which will be objective in nature with multiple choices. The duration of the exam will be of two hours and the total marks will be 150. Question wise selection of any one answer out of multiple choice answers will be required.
- The preliminary examination will be just a screening test, on the basis of which the candidates will be selected for the main examination. The number of candidates to be shortlisted for the Main Examination will be 10 times the total number of vacancies notified. All the candidates who obtain the same cut off marks category wise will be selected for the main examination.
- Main (Written) Exam (Part-II)
- (i) General Hindi (01) - 100 Marks (It will be mandatory to obtain 30 percent marks in this subject, but it will not be counted for the purpose of merit determination.), (ii) General Study, First Paper (02) - 300 Marks, (iii) General Study, Second Paper (03) - 300 Marks (iv) Essay (38) - 300 Marks.
- Personality Test (Part-III)
- Personality test of the successful candidates in the main examination will be of 120 marks.
